International Symposium on Sustainability in Acoustics
30 to 31 August 2010 in Auckland, New Zealand
Sustainability is not just a catch phrase, it has become an underpinning principle of living. Not only does sustainability relate to recycling of materials and reduction of emissions, it also includes the preservation of hearing. Therefore, the NZAS would like to include all areas of sustainability, including green star rating of buildings, innovative use of materials and building techniques to reduce emissions and protection of hearing from an early age.
